Join Tryon International’s WNC Main Street community for an afternoon of creativity! Artist Greg Carr will lead an all ages workshop, helping students explore their creativity through painting.

About the artist:

Greg Carr is a fine artist based in Asheville, known for his nostalgic paintings of cherished objects and iconic local landmarks. With a BFA in Illustration from the College for Creative Studies in Detroit, he spent six years as a professional illustrator before transitioning to a full-time art practice. He paints daily in his studio at 362 Depot Street Gallery in Asheville’s River Arts District, which is open to the public every day 11-5pm. In addition to his fine art, he teaches classes and hosts paint and sip classes with local wine shops, sharing his passion for creativity and inspiring others to fall in love with making art.
