The $78,000 PBR Ironpeddlers Chute Out Grand Prix CSI 2* was rescheduled to 9am Saturday morning with the cancellation of Saturday Night Lights presented by Tryon Horse & Home due to weather conditions, with 53 entries presenting for the Anthony D’Ambrosio (USA) course design. Kristen Vanderveen (USA) and Bull Run's Faustino de Tili, one of 10 clear rounds presented by Stuller Power Solutions, flew through the short course in a time of 34.24 seconds to take the win.
Tryon Spring 4 Midweek Update & Weather Alert
Luiz Francisco de Azevedo (BRA) and Nashville were the fastest of the day to take top honors in the $39,000 ProElite Welcome Stake CSI 2*, the first international Welcome Stake of the 2023 season as part of Tryon Spring 4 competition. Saturday Night Lights is CANCELED for May 27th.

Saturday Night Lights presented by Tryon Horse & Home welcomed the $35,000 Cooper Motor Company Grand Prix to Tryon Stadium as the feature class for Tryon Spring 3 competition.
Tryon Spring 2 Results
Tryon Spring 2, one of six weeks of Hunter, Jumper and Equitation competition in the Tryon Spring Series presented by Main Street Insurance, hailed the start of Saturday Night Lights presented by Tryon Horse & Home, the fan-favorite event series featuring free entertainment, live music and a carnival atmosphere alongside premier jumping competition in Tryon Stadium.

Saturday afternoon, Tryon Stadium hosted the $75,000 Grand Prix, with 28 horses and riders presented over the first course. Alberto Michan (Wellington, FL) and Itchcock des Dames were the fastest of the day, clinching the win in a time of 37.102 seconds.
IEA Hosts Successful 21st Annual National Finals at Tryon
Over 600 of the nation’s leading middle and high school equestrian athletes (in grades 4-12) representing 206 different teams from across the United States and Canada gathered to compete as individuals and teams for top honors in Hunt Seat and Dressage classes, championship titles, cash and collegiate scholarships and more.

For the third time in as many years, PBR (Professional Bull Riders) will buck into the state-of-the-art Tryon International, bringing the Challenger Series’ Ironpeddlers Chute Out to Tryon, North Carolina, on June 23-24.

Alicia Wilkinson (Waxhaw, NC) and Salut Ca-Va claimed the $20,000 Sunday Grand Prix to close out the Tryon Welcome Series presented by Horse Illustrated, stopping the jump off timers in 39.989 seconds to clinch the victory.

The third week of the Tryon Welcome Series presented by Horse Illustrated saw competition hosted Wednesday-Saturday at Tryon International Equestrian Center & Resort (TIEC). Angel Munoz Gil (Vivares, Spain) was victorious in Saturday’s $20,000 Mini Prix in Tryon Stadium, aboard Spy Coast Farm LLC’s Octavius SCF.

Melissa Blades (Guyton, GA) and Hells Angel were the sole double-clear combination in Sunday’s $20,000 Grand Prix at Tryon International Equestrian Center & Resort (TIEC), taking the win in a time of 35.475 seconds in the jump off.

The first weekend of the Tryon Welcome Series presented by Horse Illustrated at Tryon International Equestrian Center & Resort (TIEC) featured National/Level 3 competition and concluded with a second consecutive win for John Brown and Ballon Bleu D’Arco in the featured $20,000 Mini Prix Sunday afternoon.

USEA and YHS Join Forces for the Future Event Horse Program
February 7, 2023 – The United States Eventing Association (USEA) and the Young Horse Show Series (YHS) are proud to announce their official collaboration in further supporting and promoting the development of young horse programs in the U.S., for sport horse breeders, owners, riders, and trainers. The YHS will now be taking ownership of the USEA Future Event Horse (FEH) program for the 2023 season.
