"People Helping People" Hurricane Helene Benefit Concert
Join us for an evening of music and dance Friday, October 25th in Legends Plaza! This FREE event will serve as both a fundraising event AND a way to thank and acknowledge the hundreds of volunteers and first responders who mobilized in our community to provide relief after Hurricane Helene. While recovery work is ongoing, we want to take a moment and celebrate the unity and goodwill displayed throughout our local towns in the midst of this unprecedented crisis. Live on the Legends Plaza Stage: Abby Bryant, a music minister’s daughter turned fierce frontwoman, has cemented her presence as a standout in Americana and soul with her band’s debut album Not Your Little Girl. The 13-track LP features Bryant’s raw vocal talent supported by the confident and dynamic backing group The Echoes and establishes a strong foundation for the band in the world of vintage-inspired Americana and soul rock.

Live Music: Hope Griffin
Born in Anchorage, Alaska, Hope Griffin was literally born into music. Surrounded by a musical family, she began singing and performing when she was very young. Hope first got turned onto the idea of writing her own music when she received a guitar at age 17. She attended Carson-Newman University and went on to receive a Bachelor's degree in classical voice. It was there that her true flair for songwriting developed. Hope’s drive to perform her original works was launched after winning a songwriters contest in college in 2007. She eventually moved to Asheville, North Carolina where she began introducing her angelic vocals and folky lyrics into the music scene.

With Seth praised for his mesmerizing vocals, guitar, and an ever-evolving suitcase kick, Sara lays down percussion with delicate vocals accompanying their cowboy-inspired tunes.

Live on the Legends Plaza Stage: Lewendahl. delivers smooth RnB vocals with funky instrumentation combining a joyous pairing of juicy licks with subtle nods to the soulful stylings of Cory Wong, HER, and Leon Bridges. And this RnB, Neo-Soul and Rock inspiration came from founders Laura and Tim Levene’s shared love of classic Motown and Soul music.

Live on the Legends Plaza Stage: Marley’s Chain, a fun, upbeat, energetic and audience-engaging duo with that special ability to connect with an audience. They play a mix of country, blues, rock and rockabilly, as well as folk & Americana; their widely-sourced, carefully curated song list includes well known songs and some that are off the beaten track.
Both Angela & David are seasoned musicians, recording artists and vocalists; both play acoustic guitar and bass, and often switch instruments with each other!

Live on the Legends Plaza Stage: Chairmen Of The Board! This dynamic group emerged from the vibrant musical scene of Detroit in 1969. 50-Year member Ken Knox continues to lead the group touring with members Thomas Hunter and Patrick McGuire, plus a Six Piece backing band called The Executives. They are members of the North Carolina Music Hall Of Fame and the South Carolina Beach Music Hall Of Fame, making them a timeless and influential force in the music scene.
